Antibody Microarray from Wikipedia - Antibody microarray is a specific form of Protein microarrays, a collection of capture antibodies are spotted and fixed on a solid surface, such as glass, plastic and silicon chip for the purpose of detecting antigens. Antibody microarray is often used for detecting protein expressions from cell lysates in general research and special biomarkers from serum or urine for diagnostic applications.

Antibody Microarray Review - Protein and antibody microarray technologies are, in addition to two-dimensional gel electrophoresis followed by mass spectrometry, two of the most propitious technologies for the screening of complex protein samples. Nevertheless, to succeed, protein and antibody microarrays have to overcome their current limitations. This review aims to introduce these new technologies and highlights their current prospects and limitations.
